Hi I am new to this forum and I like it very much as I view the postings, I see that you are all serious about finding about your ancesters too. My father, Martin C. Perez, was born in a town by name, El Molino, in 1914. His Parents were Isabel Perez and his Mother Agustina Cervantes. His mother died giving birth and so my father never knew her, his father died in Santa Rita or Silver City New Mexico when my father was 7 years old. He was brought to Los Angeles to live with an aunt Macedonia, but I never knew her last name. The only known relative that I know of from Zacatecas, was a cousin by name of Bacilio Perez who was last known to live in Kern or San Joaquin counties in California. He attended my fathers funeral in 1964 in Los Angeles, my father was 47 years old and Bacilio was a little older, he attended with his son who's name may also be Bacilio.
I would appreciate any leads to help me with my genealogical search. I look forward to hearing from distant relatives.
Martin Perez
