If you have a digital camera, take it with you and you can take photos of
each page that's of interest to you. The great thing about photographs is
that if you have photo editing software on your computer, you can come home
and edit them for clarity and enlarge or decrease, crop and save only the
sections that are of interest to you. It's a great way of saving a record.
What I have done is take post it's with me and write the film #, and the
pertinent information about the film and put the post it next to the record
and when you photograph the record, you also photograph the post it with
the traceability information on it and you have a method for identifying
the record.
