Hola , I believe that the Mulatos were looking at a chance of freedom but maybe the owners (after/during the revolution) sent them away seeing that couldn't feed them and had no labor force . Maybe the Mulatos observing all this decided to split. But there were so many Its hard to conceive they just disappeared.
