This was a hybrid of electronic mailing lists and internet message boards. The files are “Read Only” and many of the users of the Yahoo Groups are not part of the new NuestrosRanchos membership, so keep this in mind when viewing these message posts and replies.

Francisco has been in communication with Mariano Gonzalez Leal and has
received permission to make copies of the book and send them to one
location in the US where they would be distributed to the indivduals
interested. I'm understanding that he is talking about the current
edition and that there is due out an update but I am not sure when.
If he is talking about the current edition how many of you would be
interested in a photocopied copy? Let me know so we can get an idea of
how much interest there is.
thanks, joseph

Susana Like you, I have found films at FHL in SLC that were 'not what the description said'. One case was a film for Lagos de Moreno where the film was only 'natural births' instead of as described as legitimate. That was 6 years ago and it is still listed that way. My sister and I have been working on another film in Banamichi, Sonora, Mex and just where our g-grandmother and g-aunt should have been, the film was totally faded, you could only see slight pen scratches. After many years of working with this film, we thought to ask the window to please order another film since this film was not readable. They order it and it was in the next day and filed in the 'overflow' section. I took the old film back to the window explaining that a better film was in the overflow section. The LDS employee said no problem, just file it in the regular section. So I took a post-a-note and attached it inside the box of the old film and noted that there was a better copy in the overflow section
Francisco,
I'm unclear if you are saying you are authorized to make copies of the old edition or new edition to come. Please clarify. Thanks. Marge Vallazza:)

Hola Joseph:
Saludos
Francisco Martin

not sure where to purchase it and not sure its available via ILL but if you
are close to any of these Universites you can see it there. Its also possible that one of the Ranchos members owns the book as I've heard it mentioned often. I don't know for sure if anyone owns it but someone might know of purchasing info:
