I just posted a Word file titles "Principal Miners of Zacatecas and Fresnillo, 1799"
Contains list of miners and hacendados - with names of haciendas.

Miners of Zacatecas and Fresnillo
I checked the names of the owners of the listed mines in Zacatecas and Fresnillo circa 1799 and noticed there are a majority of surnames I have not seen in the records. Were the majority of the mines owned by absentee owners living in Spain or other places? This is an area I have not researched before but it would seem logical since Spain still owned Mexico during this time period.

Thank you for this file, Prima! It actually has proven helpful for my own search because it confirms there was indeed a Hacienda San Jose in the region(which I was having difficulty confirming). I'm going to commence research on the 2 listed owners and see where that takes me in my search for Aurelio Rivas.
Are there any other things like this that you've found? Perhaps administrators of the haciendas or something like that?
