In my research, Toribio is usually a middle name. Try different first names as sons of the juans and see if one comes up with the middle name Toribio. This still does not confirm that he is the same person but then you check out all info on this Toribio to find clues as to whether this is the same person. This is a lot of work but I have had some success, along with more failures, but the successes have been worth it.
I have disproved some genealogies in widely quoted books and found Proof of the real genealogies by doing this.
Again, It is a lot of work so try traditional methods first.

I have done some further research on the website and found the following:

1. Jose Juan Tejeda Munos - born on Feb 02, 1845 - Father is Narsiso Tejeda and mother is Brigida Munos - born in Teocaltiche, Mex - Item #2985 in Films

2. Juan Tejeda Villalovos - born in 1842 on Aug 30 in Teocaltiche - father is Miguel Tejeda and mother is Jsefa Villalovos - Item #2986 in Films

This seems close as he was married in 1863, and these birthdates would make him either 21 or 18 at the time of marriage - also, the christening took place at the church - Nuestra Senora de Los Dolores

Any thoughts ?

Is there anyway that one can determine which Juan Tejeda was the father of Toribio Tejeda
