The above, captioned couple were married 20 ene 1720 in San Juan Barco, la Barca, Jalisco. They had at least three children: George Teodoro (bau. 28 abr 1720), Joseph Manuel (bau. 08 may 1723) and Juana María (bau. 13 ene 1726).
My research includes a María Josepha Benites who married Miguel Aseves in Portesuelo, la Barca 11 jul 1742. It is not an unreasonable speculation that 'my' María Josepha may also be a child of the above family, although I have not yet located her baptismal record.
Does anyone have any research that may include either María Josepha Benites or the family of Salbadór Benites de Villa Reál and Clara de Susilla?
Best wishes,

Lawrence, I am planning on doing some research in Portezuelo, Jalisco
around the middle of June. If you would like I could do a little research
for you while I am there. I do know that FamilySearch does not have church
records for Portezuelo but there are some records that may be found in La
Barca and I think the name is San Juan *Bosco *versus *Barco*.

Esther,
Thanks so much for your generous offer of research in Portezuelo. And you're right, of course: it is San Juan Bosco—I must have been thinking 'la Barca' when I typed the other ...
As for the records of Portesuela, I have found the marriage of Miguel Aceves and María Josepha Benites (1742) and the baptisms of three of their children (1744, 1746, and 1747) in Portesuela in FamilySearch under La Barca, San Juan Bosco.
Best wishes,

Research in Portezuelo
Esther,
Did you make your trip to Portezuelo in June? I'm curious what records you may have been able to locate. I am still stuck on the possibility of Salbador Benites de Villa Reál and Clara de Susilla as the parents of María Josepha Benites ca. 1720–1740.
Best wishes,
