The line I am researching is documented back to Antonio Sermeño (bap. 17 Feb 1679, Santa María de los Lagos), who married Augustina Magaña, 22 Jun 1711 in Jalos. Antonio Sermeño is the son of Juan Sermeño and María de Ornelas (from his marriage record: "... Anttº Sermeño español ... hijo Legº de Juan Sermeño difunto, y de Maria de Ornelas ..."); Juan and María are my current dead-end.
Does anyone have documented information about Juan Sermeño and María de Ornelas, including dates of birth, death, and/or marriage? Antonio Sermeño has at least one documented sibling, Eleutheria, who was baptized 03 Apr 1681 in Lagos.

Sermeño-Ornelas Puzzle
I should point out that there is another María de Ornelas in Lagos at about the same time as the above-named couple; but she is married to 'Juan Pascual', and they are listed as 'Yndios' in the records. I make this distinction because the Antonio Sermeño I am working on, whose mother is also María de Ornelas, was listed as 'Español' in his baptismal record in 1679.
