Hello to everyone. I've been researching my family tree for years and until now, I had found all of my ancestors within the borders of what is now Jalisco. Just a couple days ago, I found my first ancestors from another state! This is the info I found on them.
My 7th great-grandparents' names are Franco. Rodriges and Josepha de Aramburo, married on February 1, 1711 in Nochistlan, Zacatecas. The marriage record I found does not mention the parents. I tried to look for matrimonial informations but there is nothing for that year, I believe. I hope that someone researching in Nochistlan has these ancestors or their siblings and may offer a clue as to how to continue with this line.
They had a daughter named Maria Leonor Rodriguez, who married Franco. de Salazar on October, 2, 1732 in Tepatitlan. These are my 6th great grandparents.
Do any of these names sound familiar?

Marriage information Francisco Rodriguez and Josepha Aramburu
If they are from the same Rodriguez and Aramburu families as mine as I suspect, they may have submitted their marriage information in Tepatitlan or Guadalajara and then gone to Nochistlan, Zacatecas to marry in front of many family members.

Rodriguez and Aramburu
Hello Steve,
My family is also from Los altos de Jalisco. My first ancestors that I found from out of the state of Jalisco were From Aguascalientes and Zacatecas.
An ancestor of mine Pheliciana Belasquez Aramburo was the daughter of Felipe Velasquez Becerra and Maria Anna Aramburo. They were all born in Tepatitlan
Maria Anna Aramburo is the daughter of Pascual Aramburu and Juana Nuno Gaytan.
Pascual Aramburu was born in Nochistlan, Zacatecas and died in Tepatitlan
Juana Nuno Gaytan was born in Mexticacan Jalisco
Pascual is the son of Diego Aramburo and Maria Anna Geronima Ynaez de Medinilla Alvarado
Diego's great grandmother is Francisca Figueroa y temino de Banuelos and the line goes back for many centuries, too long to post here.
Pascual Aramburo left many descendants in Tepatitlan I did not collect their information but I will go back and gather this information.
There are different Rodriguez lines that I have from Tepatitlan came from Nochistlan Zacatecas. One of them is Rodriguez de Hijar.
I hope this information is of use to you,
R A Ricci
