Hello Everyone,
I have been actively searching for information on my Villalobos,Romo de Vibar and Martin del Campo ancestors. Specifically for the two couples Francisco de Villalobos and Anna Maria Romo de Vibar from El Agostadero de Mecatebasco Zactecas and Juan de Esparza and Mariana Martin del Campo from Aguascalientes but I have encountered a brick wall.
Let me start with Francisco de Villalobos and Anna Maria Romo de Vibar.
Francisco de Villalobos and Anna Maria Romo de Vibar are parents of my 6th great-grandmother Maria Antonia de Jesus de Villalobos chris on 21 Feb 1756 in Santa Maria Macatabasco Villa del Refugio,Zac. Maria Antonia married Juan Jose de Esparza (son of Ysidro de Esparza Martin del Campo and Maria de Gertrudis Lozano Delgado)on March 28 1781 in Calvillo,Aguascalientes.
Francisco de Villalobos and Anna Maria de Villalobos other children:
Name: Maria De La Luz Billalobos Romo
Gender: Female
Christening Date: 31 Dec 1770
Christening Place: SANTA MARIA MECATABASCO,VILLA DEL REFUGIO,ZACATECAS,MEXICO
Name: Joseph Geronimo Villalobos Romo
Gender: Male
Christening Date:16 Oct 1760
Christening Place:SANTA MARIA MECATABASCO,VILLA DEL REFUGIO,ZACATECAS,MEXICO
and Maria Ygnacia Villalbos who married Marcos Muñoz Landeros and died in Aguascalientes on July 7, 1848.
Now, Juan Jose de Esparza (husband of Antonia de Villalbos)is son of Ysidro de Esparza Martin del Campo and Maria de Gertrudis Lozano Delgado and grand-child of Juan de Esparza and Mariana Martin del Campo through his father's side, and of Cristobal Lozano and Beatriz Delgado Lopez de Lizalde through her mother's side.
Ysidro de Esparza and Gertrudis Lozano married in Aguascalientes on 26 Dec 1730.
I have traced Gertudis Lozano's ancestry to the Delgado,Lopez de Lizalde,Ruiz de Esparza,Tiscareño de Molina and other Spanish families from Aguascalientes, but I can't go any further from Ysidro de Esparza's parents Juan de Esparza and Mariana Martin del Campo, I encounter a brick wall, as well as for Francisco de Villalbos and Maria Romo de Vibar's. I have looked through most of the dispensas and padrino's information, but with no success.
I am wondering if these family lines (Villalobos,Romo de Vibar,Martin de Campo)go back to the early Spanish families in Aguascalientes of Romo de Vibar,Martin del Campo and Villalobos. I would assume they must have some connection since their children and grandchildren married into prominent families of Aguascalientes like Delgado and Lopez de Lizalde.
I would greatly appreciate your help!
Thank you!

Hello Roberto. Based on the results of DNA tests I can tell you that Francisco de Villalobos is a direct descendant of Cristóbal de Villalobos and María Pérez de Nava. One of the persons tested is a participant of the Nueva Galicia DNA project at http://www.familytreedna.com/public/NuevaGaliciaDNA/default.aspx?sectio…
I can also tell you that the father of Francisco de Villalobos was reported to be the son of Nicolás de Villalobos per the following dispensa https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1-18414-13679-26?cc=1874591&wc…
María Ignacia Villalobos y Romo de Vivar was married 9 May 1792 with Marcos Muñoz Landeros

Francisco de Villalobos and Anna Maria Romo de Vivar are also the parents of the following:
José Claudio Villalobos y Romo de Vivar 1758 casado el 12 de febrero 1782 con María Josefa López Martinez
Bautizado el 28 de julio 1758 - Villa del Refugio, Zacatecas, México

Thank you very much Armando, I greatly appreciate it!
After the information that you gave me I have gone a bit further, now I am trying to find out who Nicolas de Villalobos' wife was, and mother of Francisco de Villalobos and Juan Jose de Villalobos (according to the dispensa that you provided they were both sons of Nicolas de Villalobos). Can you help me get more insight on some information I found.
Thanks to Goerge Fulton, I found a marriage certificate for Juan Joseph de Villalobos and Maria de Luna.

I am wondering if this is the same Juan Joseph de Villalobos from the dispensa you provided, if so Gertrudis de Velasco would probably be Francisco de Villalobos' mother:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1-18414-13679-26?cc=1874591&wc…
All the dates seem to fit. But I am not sure if I am going the right way.
I would greatly apreciate your help!
Thank you Armando!

Roberto, you have made a connection that I had overlooked. I already knew about that información matrimonial but I hadn't tied the two Juan Josephs together. I do think that the two are one and the same.
That also means that apart from the DNA results we have documentation that ties Nicolás de Villalobos to the founding family of Cristóbal de Villalobos and María Pérez de Nava.
The información matrimonial of Juan Joseph states that he is from the Valle de Huejúcar which was once part of Mecatabasco, Zacatecas is now Calvillo, Aguasacalientes.
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-267-11761-57421-10?cc=1502404&…
His parents also have an información matrimonial record.
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-266-11771-153607-86?cc=1502404…
It states that Gertrudis de Velasco is from Valle de Huejúcar which would be why Juan Joseph and his brothers would have been born in Zacatecas. The males moved to the town the wife was from.
It names the parents of Nicolás de Villalobos as Diego de Villalobos and Ana Jiménez who were married 28 Oct 1676 in Aguascalientes. https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-266-12446-30342-71?cc=1410092&…
We know who the parents of Diego de Villalobos were thanks to a dispensa.

It states that his parents were Cristóbal de Villalobos and María Pérez de Nava.
I descend from a brother of this Francisco de Villalobos named Tomás de Villalobos whose relation is proven by using the previous dispensa along with the following two.

Thank you very much Primo Armando!
Its such an exciting and rewarding feeling when you can go on further into your ancestry. Now I can say that with your help I have traced Francisco de Villalobos Velasco's ancestry. I don't only descend from his dad Diego de Villalobos, but a brother of Diego named Isidro de Villalobos who married Francisca Gertrudis de Escoto y Tovar. I have the Villalobo's line multiple times in my family tree.
Now I am still stuck on Anna Maria Romo de Vibar, Juan de Esparza and Mariana Martin del Campo. I will keep on looking for clues to help me find more information on these three ancestor's origins. I am very eager, especially, to find out if Ana Maria Romo de Vibar and Mariana (Maria) Martin del Campo descend from the early Romo de Vibar's and Martin del Campo's from Aguascalientes,do you have any advice on how to be successful Armando?
Thank you Again Primo Armando!

Francisco de Villalobos
Hola Primo,
The children of Francisco de Villalobos and Anna Maria Romo de Vivar are mentioned as being born in Ojo Caliente in their baptisms and their marriage documents. Based on the dates of the baptisms of their children Francisco and Anna María were married before Feb 1756. Look for their información matrimonial record there. Here's the link - https://familysearch.org/search/image/index#uri=https%3A%2F%2Ffamilysea…
Maria Antonia de Villalobos and Juan Jose de Esparza had a dispensa de 3o grado de afinidad. You need to look for that dispensa. That means his first wife, María Ignacia de Contreras, and his second wife, Anna María, were related in the third degree. They had a great-grandparent in common. Download the following Index of Dispensas and click on the links for the appropriate years to see if you can find the dispensa. https://www.dropbox.com/s/wc48jbtlhoq11a6/Index%20of%20Dispensas.xlsx
You could also look for the información matrimonial records to see if it has more info and also look for the marriage record and información matrimonial of Juan Jose de Esparza and María Ignacia de Contreras in Ojo Caliente prior to April 1768.
If you still haven't found anything continue looking for marriage records, información matrimonial records, and dispensas of descendants of Maria Antonia de Villalobos and Juan Jose de Esparza down to the great-grandchildren to see if you can find something.
Also look through the notary records at http://sigue.aguascalientes.gob.mx/AXWeb/Login.aspx username: sigue.publica password: publica

Francisco de Villalobos...Juan de Esparza and Mariana Martin..
Thank you primo Armando!
I have started my search through indexes, matrimonial investigations and I came up with some documents that are stongs hints of Mariana Martin del Campo and Juan de Esparza's ancestry.
Thanks to George Fulton's index on Matrimonial Investigations of Aguascalientes for 1700-1720
http://www.nuestrosranchos.org/system/files/private/active/4/Matrimonia…
I found this index:
Volume 1705: image 65
26 Jun 1705
Groom: de Esparza, Juan (Espanol; )
Father: de Esparza, Miguel Father:
Mother: Ruis de Escamilla, Clara
Bride: Gonzales, Mariana (mestiza;)
Father: Martin, Christoval
Mother: Gonzales, Maria
Notes: dispensa; 3rd degree consanguinity
The time frame fits perfectly since their son Ysidro married in 1730. The only thing that makes me question this couple, is that Mariana used Gonzalez instead of Martin, now I also questioned if her father was indeed a Martin del Campo, so to confirm his last name I searched for other children of Cristoval Martin and Maria Gonzalez and I came up with Francisco Martin del Campo.
Here is the index of his marriage with Teressa de Valderrama and his death:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/N874-J5L
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/JHPT-X8F
And here is the christening index of their son: Christoval Crecencio Martin Balderrama on May 15 1715 in Aguascalientes, son of Francisco Martin del Campo and Teresa de Valderrama.
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/JMD6-2H1
This confirmed that Francisco is indeed a Martin del Campo. But now in index from George Fulton's indexing of Marriages in Aguascalientes, on the informacion matrimonial of Francisco Martin and Teresa de Valderrama, his mother is said to be Maria de Villagran insted of Maria Gonzalez, maybe she went by both.

Notes:
I am really positive that this couple (Juan de Esparza and Mariana (Martin del Campo) Gonzalez) are parents of Ysidro de Esparza married to Gertrudis Lozano. And that Francisco Martin del Campo is brother of Mariana. I want to look up the documents from George Fulton's index, but I don't know how to look for the documents on family search since the page number on the index does not match the current volume and page on family search, or it might, but I don't know how to get to it, I'll keep on trying.
What do you think primo Armando, is this a strong hint on Ysidro de Esparza's parents Juan de Esparza and Mariana Martin del Campo's ancestry?

Francisco de Villalobos...Juan de Esparza and Mariana Martin..
Primo,
It does look like you are on the right path.
George Fulton's index was created when the images had different numbers. In the current format you have to go to a volume that matches then jump around until the date is somewhat close then compare the date with what is in the index and the page number and subtract the numbers then that should tell you how far away you are from the page you are looking for.
Here are links to some of the records.
