Gonzales, Gtz, Perez, Franco, etc.,

Hi John,
Of the Jalos surnames you mentioned, the only surname I
don't have is Cornejo, but I know two Jalos families with that surname who live in a nearby town in Northern Calif. Two brothers of which one married a Gonzales and the other married a Gutierrez of course. I am distantly related to the wives. :) My closest, most direct relative who was born in "El
Rancho de los Portales" was my G Grandmother Tomasa Gutierrez born March 6, 1844. All of her siblings as well as her father, Dionicio Gutierrez were born there. Its a pretty large, tight-knit group. Dionicio Gtz's wife was Maria-Lauriana-del-Refugio Perez (married June 7, 1841 in Jalos) which ties me into the Franco & Perez clan. I have many of both branches in my database..., and I
personally know other descendants from this rancho. Of the Gonzales, I'm a little more confused & scattered
due to the common surname. My closest, most direct relative was my G Grandmother, Paulina Gonzales |
