I have tons of information on the Casillas Y Cabrera Family to upload and I am doing something wrong. I went in and made a folder. Then I browed to add a link and clicked on add. The attachment doesn't attach. What am I doing wrong?

BACKGROUND:
My name is Salvador Quirarte. My father was Cesar Quirarte Ruiz, born in
Nochistlan, Zacatecas in 1901. His parents were Hermenegildo Quirarte and
Gumara Ruiz. My father and his two sisters Maria and Clotilde Evelia
Quirarte Ruiz left Nochistlan some time in the early 20's to migrate first
to Aguascalientes and later to Mexico City.
His sister Clotilde Evelia was the first women born in the state of
Zacatecas to graduate and receive a Masters degree and a PHD degree. That
has been recognized by the State Congress of Zacatecas.
My father became a classical violinist. Initially he joined the Orquesta
Tipica de Lerdo de Tejada, that for several years traveled all around the US
playing mexican clasical and romantic music. Afterwards he was for many
years the first violin of the National Symphonic Orchestra of Mexico, and
later was director of the Simphonic Orchestra of Veracruz and the
Conservatory in Queretaro and died in the 80's in Mexico City. He never went
back to stay in Nochistlan.
QUESTION: Looking at the Web site of the Department of Public Education of
the state of Zacatecas I discovered that the basic elementary public school
of the small town of Rancho Aculco has the name of Escuela Cesar Quirarte
Ruiz.
I never has been in Rancho Aculco, but looking at the maps I see it is not
so far from Nochistlan.
I was in Nochistlan once when I was a kid and do not know any relative
there, neither from the Quirarte or from the Ruiz side.
Now I live in the USA and do not have any contact with other members of my
family other than my brother.
Trying to find out if the school was named to honor my father I got the
phone of the local Presidencia Municipal at Rancho Aculco and called asking
to have the phone and name of the Head of that little school to provide them
with my phone and e/mail address to start a contact.
The secretary of the City Hall told me the school has not phone or
e-mail but she will comment to the teachers about my call so they can call
or e/mail back to me .I never received any news from them.
So QUESTION is: Did any of you has local contacts in Rancho Aculco that I
can call or e-mail to ask if the name Cesar Quirarte Ruiz was asigned
because of my father, and why/when that happens and also if that is not the
case, want to know if there was another Cesar Quirarte Ruiz in the area in
addition to my father?
Thanks in advance for the kind help that any of you can provide me on this
family mistery I just discover and want to solve !

After only a few weeks at familysearch.org...I can trace our Casillas family back from Blase Alexander Casillas (my little grandson) to Blase> Blase> Blas> Cristino> Pilar> Crisanto> Carlos> Santiago> and our last found ancestor...Joseph Cabrera Casillas who was married to Paula de Villasensor in 1771 and referenced as the parents of Santiago in his marriage records.
Is there an easier way to access the records in familysearch.org. I found the actual hand written marriage record of José de Santiago Casillas and Maria de San José Vasquez (Basquez) in 1797, but I had to scroll through the records after I went from:
1) Scrolling down the page at familysearch.org to where it says "Browse by location"
2) Choosing "USA, Canada, and Mexico"
3) Scrolling down on next page to: "Mexico, Jalisco, Catholic Church Records"
4) Clicking on the BLUE link that says "Browse through 5 Million + records"
5) Next page Click on "Jalostotitlan"
6) Next page Click on BLUE link that says "Nuestra Senora de la Asuncion"
7) Next page you have to choose the year you are searching for example: "Information matrimonial 1797", and scroll through 100's of records.
They had film record numbers on their indexes which didn't match the film number where I found Santiago's marriage record, and what good is the batch number? It goes nowhere? Can anyone give me a hint? Is there an easier way than going blind like this..... or is this it?

I've been going through the Diocesis de Guadalajara's Matrimonios to find any informacion matrimoniales for Jalpa, Zacatecas prior to 1864.
As you may know, most of Jalpa's records before 1864 were burned or lost. I'm keeping track of those that I find at the Diocesis using Google Documents. I'm including the names, date, place, image #, the URL to the first image of the IM, witnesses, and Tronco(s). There is a separate sheet for each year.

What's interesting is that while I was searching for Jalpa, I randomly came across people from Jalpa in unexpected locations, including small outposts in Jalisco. There are also several places that appeared to be Jalpa, Zacatecas, but were in fact either "Talpa" (in Jalisco) or "Jalpa Encomienda" (maybe someone can confirm that is now Jalpa de Cánovas in Guanajuato?).
So far, I've found one possible lead to my own ancestors. Unfortunately, this lead has raised more questions that I need to answer before I can say it's paydirt or fools gold.
I'll be adding more years to this document in the upcoming weeks. If you want to work on a year, let me know and I can give you editing permissions to the document.

I am trying to research my grandfather Gabino Gutierrez. He was born in Valle
de Guadalupe, Jalisco, Mexico about 1889. He migrated to the United States
about 1907, living in Ohio. He married and had three children, my mother being
one. My grandparents divorced about 1924 and he returned to Mexico, marrying a
Casillasand having two sons(Juan and Benjamin). She died and he married her
younger sister Cecilla Casillas and had one son(Manual). My grandfather died
somewhere between 1968 and 1972. I traveled to Mexico with my family in 1964
to meet my grandfather and Cecilla. I have been trying to find if he has any
relatives still living and his history. I have found some in Family Search, but
cannot tie all ends. I see where he crossed the border in 1940 to visit a
sister in Los Angles. I found her in the 1930 censuswith their parents living
with her. I also found where his mother died in Los Angles and I know it is her
as it was stated her mother's maiden namewas Cruz and all the dates matched.
But have not been able to see his sister's birth or any records. Any help would
be greatly appreciated. I am including link

In researching my father I found a 1930 Mexico census on Family search with my grandmother as head of household but the residence is "Carcel Municipal de Guanajuato" I have pasted part of the information below. My question what does this mean? and is there somewhere to find arrest/jail archives? I am having a hard time finding birth record for both of my paternal grandparents :( so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hola Members, I have a question concerning my ancestor Toribio Sanchez (marr. to Maria Nieves Martin) .Their Daughter Maria Fermina Sanchez(mestiza) born JULY 14,1822 San Juan de Los Lagos on bautismos 1816-1823 on Image 336. On the bautismo its states Javier Sanchez and Rafaela Lozano as Paternal Grandparents. I went to the familysearch.org IGI (old site) placed the couple mentioned and was given a daughter Maria Petra Sanchez(mulata libre) born Aug.13,1799 Atotonilco el Alto (bautismos 1793-1799,image 386).
The question is ,could the 2 couples -Javier Sanchez and Rafaela Lozano be one in the same ? Is it possible there was a migration from Atotonilco el Alto to the San Juan de Los lagos area ? Another statement Toribio Sanchez and Maria Nieves Martin had another daughter Maria Vicenta Sanchez born July 04,1824 San Juan de los Lagos (bautismos 1823-1829 image 59) and she was classified India. If they are the same couple ,they have a mulata daughter , mestiza and Indian granddaughters from the same parents. Appreciate any incite and I am I missing something ?

We are researching the Family of Cristino Casillas and Mercedes Ornejo, from
Jalostotitlan, Jalisco, Mexico. Cristino came to the US in 1920 with his
wife and children, Blas, Marcelino, Maria de los Santos and Bernard. They
settled in Swink, Colorado where Cristino worked in a Sugar Factory. He
then moved to Rey, Arizona where he was a miner, and then on to Detroit,
Michigan where he worked at the Gas company. He had a brother Jose Casillas
who was married to Julia Padilla Casillas and they also came to the US in
1920 and settled in Superior, Arizona. The descending chart attached shows
the following family tree father to son. All were born in Jalostotitlan,
Jalisco, Mexico.
Line of descent:
1. Crisanto Casillas (m) Mariana Vega
2. Pilar Casillas (m) Candelaria Ornelas
3. Cristino Casillas (m) Mercedes Ornejo
4. Blas Casillas (m) Aurora de la Torre
