Saludos

I guess I'm confused about the GuadalajaraDispensas.com website. There is a re-direct to Google that requires a login; once the login has been made (I use that login for some other Google features), I get a "Permission Denied".
Is there a change in the way the Dispensas blog is accessed?
Best wishes,
Lawrence Bouett
Has there been a change in how to access the lists of Matrimonial Dispensations that Claudia and others have developed? When I tried to access them I was told I needed a Google Acount; then I was told I must be invited to the blog. These have been invaluable and I was able to access them just this morning.

I have been researching my family line in Zacatecas, Mainly the Tejada's who lived in Corrales,Zac.which is under the [Jiménez del Teúl,San Andrés Apóstol] records. The family lived there from 1850-1898. In many of the documents it list Antonio Tejada married to Ma.Felipa Cardenas, they must have been born in the 1820's and married in the early 1840's.. but the earlies information in this area begin at 1861. No info is given durring the 1840's or 1850's that would let me continue to find them or thier parents. It is posible that they came from JEREZ but here also is a gap in the 40's and 50's birth records. Any suggestions let me know Thanks.
I have noticed that when I read the blood line designation that the baptism record and the marriage record don't always coincide. In one the family member will be designated mestizo and in the other Espn. Does anyone understand why this would happen? My guess is maybe the priest didn't ask and just made a judgment from looking at the individuals.
Another question I have just come across is a baptism record where the individual was listed as hija legitima but then only the mothers name was listed. Any insight would be appreciated, I'm thinking maybe the father died before the birth but this is just a guess because I can't figure out how the baby would be legitimate if the mother didn't have a spouse.

Dear Group,
I need your help in unraveling this Corvera/Corbera y Juana Gonzales mystery. I know that this is a rather lengthy posting, but I have been trying to figure this out for many years.
My husband's Corvera/Corbera paternal lineage has been a complicated one for me and I with your help hope to move on...
Here's what I do know/have established to date...
My father-in-law Florentino Corvera/Corbera bapt 15 Apr 1894 Capilla de Momax, Zacatecas, Mexico...son of Aniceto Corvera y Trinidad Serrano.
I have listed his siblings below, he being # 2
Offspring of: Aniceto Corvera/Corbera y Maria Trinidad Salamanca Serrano
1. En la Capilla del Plateado, ( Santa Maria Mecatabasco, Huanusco, Zacatecas - Sep 1890 hija natural de Aniceto Cordero y Trinidad Cerrano...A.P. Juan Cordero y Juana Gonzales - A.M. Juan Cerrano y Jesus Salamanca.
(Is Cordero in this record actually Corvera/Corbera ? )
Trinidad Serrano A.P. Juan Corvera y Jesus Zalamanca... no other notation about the grandparents... I believe that the priest actually recorded this baptism information incorrectly....that the A.P. should have been Juan Corvera y Juana Gonzales and the A.M. Juan Serrano y Jesus Salamanca.
4. En la Capilla de Momax, 4 Mar 1900 hijo legitimo de Aniceto Corvera y Trinidad Serrano A.P. Juan Corvera y Juana Gonzales A.M. Juan Serrano y Jesus Salamanca.
5. En la Capilla de Momax, 10 Aug 1902 hija legitima de Aniceto Corbera y Trinidad Serrano A.P. Juan Corbera y Juana Gonzalez. A.M. Juan Serrano y Jesus Salamanca.
6. En la Capilla de Momax, 05 Feb 1905 hija legitima de Aniceto Corvera y Ma Trinidad Cerrano... A.P. Juan y Juana Gonzalez, A.M. Juan y Ma. Jesus Salamanca
Trinidad Serrano...A.P. Juan y Juana Gonzalez - A.M. Juan y Ma. Jesus Salamanca.
(Is Anacleto Cordero actually Aniceto Corvera/Corbera?)
8. En la Capilla de Momax, 31 Jul 1910 hijo legitimo de Aniceto Corvera y Maria Trinidad Serrano, A.P. Juan y Juana Gonzalez, A.M. Juan Jose y Maria Jesus Salamanca.
NOTE: I believe that based on these records these children are the offspring of Aniceto Corvera/Corbera y Maria Trinidad Salamanca Serrano. (with various errors and spelling variations of their names), and that their A.P. are Juan Corvera/Corbera y Juana Gonzales and A.M. Juan Serrano y Jesus Salamanca.
To date I have not located baptism records for Aniceto nor for Juana Gonzales, plus I have not located a marriage record for this couple.
~~~~~~~~~~
The two records below I believe are the offspring of Juan Corvera y Juana Gonzales aka Nepomucena Gonzales.
(1.) En la Iglesia del Pue blo de Santa Maria De Los Angeles, Jalisco, Mexico 21 Nov 1846 hijo legitima de Juan Corvera y Nepomucena Gonzales. A.P. Vicenta Corvera y Benita Marquez A.M. Cesario Gonzales y Demetria Aleman.
(2.) En la Parroquia de Tabasco - Plateado - 28 May 1865 hijo legitima de Juan Corvera y Juana Gonzalez . A.P. Vicente Corvera y Benita Marquez. A.M. Cesario Gonzalez y Demetria Aleman .
A marriage record dated 03 May 1865 S.M. Mecatabasco for child # (1.) states he is the son of Juan Corbera y Nepomucena Gonzales...
En la Parroquia de Tabasco...groom native and resident of Plateado, hijo legitima de Juan Corbera y Juana Gonsalez "que viven," it mentions the bride's name, she hija legitima de Julian Bramasco y Fermina Chavez.
Five baptism records for this couple's children state that the A.P. Juan Corbera y Juana Gonzalez and A.M. Julian Bramasco y Fermina Chavez.
~~~~~~~~~~
My question is...
Is this the same Juana/Maria Juana/Nepomocena Gonzales that is mentioned in all the records noted above?

Buenos Dias,
I am seeking information relative to the above couple, my maternal 5th great grandparents. They were married 20 Feb 1757 in Teocaltiche, Jalisco, MX (Nuestra Senora de Dolores). It appears that the Family Search digitized records does not include the period 1754-1767 in Matrimonios.
They had at least 1 child: Maria Alvina de Villapando, born about 1762.
Can someone give me advise on how to close the digital records "gap".
Gracias,
Paul Gomez

Here is a Census of Rancho De Los Maderas (Rincon) of Huejuquilla, Jalisco, Mexico during the year 1830.
Marcelo Madera is my maternal great great grandfather. He is the father of Benito Madera. Benito Madera is the father of Maria Clemencia Madera - the spouse of my Paternal Great Grandfather Calixto Madera.
On the Census Marcelo Madera is listed at age 62 years in the year 1830. That would make is approximate birth in the year 1768.

Hello everyone --
I came across an interesting 1553 baptism record in Mexico City. Among the witnesses listed are Cristobal Onate, Hernan Peres de Bocanegra and Antonio de la Cadena. However there's also a name listed, where I can't read the first name but the last name is "de Montemayor"
Can anyone tell what the first name is for the Montemayor person? I'm working on a side project looking at the Mexico City connections for the founding families of Monterrey and Saltillo in case anyone is interested. See http://texmexroots.blogspot.com/p/mexico-city-monterrey-founder.html.
The record I'm talking about can be found at the Family history site, or at my website where I also posted it. If you're looking at the familyhistory website, here's the info you need: Asunción Sagrario Metropolitano (Centro) -- Bautismos de Españoles 1536-1589 -- p185 of 1003 (baptism of Jeronima, hija de Martin de Campos y su mujer Leonor)
Here's the link: https://www.familysearch.org/search/image/index#uri=https%3A%2F%2Fapi.f…
Thanks for any help!

My GGGGGGG grandfather Jeronimo Rosales b. 1689 married Josepha Romo de Vivar b. 1689, daughter of Francisco Romo de Vivar Rangel and Lorenza Ruis de Esparza
In researching (my GGGGGG) Jeronimo Rosales Romo de Vivar’s siblings I found a total of 13. Most born in Aguascalientes, Ags. -- some in Cienega de Mata Ojuelos, Jalisco
Three of the siblings had the same or similar names but born in different years. My question is – are some of the children I found belong to another set of parents with the exact names of Jeronimo Rosales and Josepha Romo de Vivar? So far the documents I have checked do not have the names of the grandparents so I can verify if they are the same parents
Here is what I have as children of
Jerónimo Rosales and Josepha Romo De Vivar (Married May 1st, 1709, Aguascalientes,)
*Francisco Eusebio b. 1710, Aguascalientes
Maria Sebastiana b. 1711 Aguascalientes
Lorenza b. 1713, Aguascalientes
*Francisco b. 1716, Aguascalientes
Josepha Eufracia Gertrudis b. 1718 Aguascalientes
Juan Joseph b. 1720 Aguascalientes
*Cristóbal b. 1723, Cienega de Mata, Ojuelos Jalisco
Maria Sebastiana b 1727 Cienega de Mata
Joseph Ylario b. 1730 Cienega de Mata
*Joseph Gabriel b. 1729 Cienega de Mata
Ana Rosales b. 1732 San Antonio Aguascalientes
*Gabriel b. 1734 San Antonio, Aguascalientes
*Cristóbal b. 1736 Cienega de Mata
Thank you for any information you may have. In the mean time I will continue to check the church records.

I am browsing Baptismos and search for the copy of my great grandfather Calixto Madera De La Paz. I know for sure that his parents are Patricio Madera and Maria Dimas De La Paz because my grandfather Antonio Madera Madera was born in July of 1893 and I found his baptimos and the names of his parents
Calixto Madera (Jimulco)/Maria Clemencia Madera (Rancho De Los Maderas),
Paternal Grandparents Patricio Madera/Maria Dimas De La Paz
Maternal Grandparents Benito Madera(Rancho De Los Maderas)
Sister of Calixto Madera de La Paz:
Antonia Madera (nacida el 9 de Mayo 1857)
Parents: Patrico Madera/Maria Dimas De La Paz
Paternal Grandparents: "Don" Juan Benancio Madera/? Ledesma
Maternal Grandparents: "Don" Macimo De La Paz/"Dona" Agata Ledesma

I will continually add more brothers and sisters that I find and also Calixto's baptismo when I find it.
