El problema con J. Jesús Medina Tiscareño (1831–1906) no es tan drastico pero de cualquier manera es frustrante tener una infinidad de 'Jesús Medina' imposibles de diferenciar por el hecho de haber tantos de ellos con informacion insuficiente y con el mismo nombre.

Alguien tiene una sugerencia de que se puede hacer en estos casos?

Hello all:

I have been working on my genealogy for nearly two years now. I spent most of the time developing the family tree, but recently I started interviewing older relatives, and also finally started putting things down on paper in an orderly fashion.

I first was not sure how to proceed, but then I came up with the idea to focus on each of my four great-grandparents' families, and maybe to go back a bit into the past if I found anything worth mentioning.

I am researching Los Altos de Jalisco, Aguascalientes and Yurecuaro, but I also have ancestry outside of the scope of the website in Baja and Alta California.

Since I'm only allowed one image I am posting the first sheet of one of the families. If there is a way to share more, let me know, (I've not yet explored the possibilities of the website.)
I already have four PDF files, one with more that 30 pages.

My sister did the ancestry dna test.
Three percent of the results show from
Thr Aegean Islands. My sister has some Greek in her genes.

I am not surprised as her physical features are like those ancient drawings of the women of the Minoan civilization of Ancient Crete.

I found in familysearch.org an online book of the diary of Alarcon that went into Texas in 1718.

Here on page 60 of that book online is a list of the census of San Antonio, Texas, Nueva Espana (Mexico) date June 14, 1718. I will have to check Joseph Velasquez, Antonio and Agustin Perez if they are the ones on my family tree which I do have those names on my family tree at that time period.

In the 23 Sep 1760 Colotlan baptism of Matheo (second from bottom right at https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:9392-F9S3-KX?cc=1874591&wc=3J4B… ), his birth is placed at Hazcata.

I cannot find any such place. Does anyone else know about Hazcata?

Suddenly every image of the Tlaltenango baptisms 1888-1889 on FamilySearch have blue boxes, outlining and sometimes obscuring the text.

I would like for someone who understands Spanish better than I do to look at a document and tell me what it is about. It is about my ancestors Pedro and Juan Casillas. I believe it’s their baptism document, but the abbreviation also make translating these documents harder for me.
