I was able to find new information on my ancestor José Nolasco Fernández de Villalpando and may appear to be related to the same Villalpando family of Aguascalientes and Guanajuato.
In the Aguascalientes archives there are 45 documents describing dowries (dote matrimonial). All but two are for the town of Aguascalientes, one is for Asientos, and one Lagos de Moreno.
