IN DOING RESEARCH IN THE JALISCO CHURCH RECORDS I FOUND A GREAT AUNT PETRA TORRES THAT MARRIED VALERIO MACIAS ON 2 JULY 1814 AND IT LIST BOTH AS BEING INDIOS. BUT HOW CAN I FIND THE TYPE OF INDIOS THEY WERE. I FOUND THIS IN THE JALISCO CATHOLIC CHURCH RECORDS FROM ENCARNACION DE DIAZ MATRIMONIOS 1778 - 1830 FILM PAGE WAS 503.I HAD HEARD THAT MY RELATIVES WERE AZTEC BUT I HAVE NOT VERIFIED THIS YET.. THIS MY FIRST TIME POSTING ANYTHING SO I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS THE PROPER FORMAT, ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. MY ID IS HERJOE59

got other info also I found online some stories of valparaiso its called
Valparaiso de.mis recuerdos and colotlan en llamas blog reading this may
give you hints of where to look there I saw sone Castañon mentioned. You
can google the names I told you to read the stories!!

La novios casaron el 21 de agosto de 1757 en el Sagrario Metropoilitano de Guadalajara. El documento menciona ellos como "hijo lexítimo de D. Roque Gómez de Aguilar y Da. Tomasa Ramírez de Prado" (cuya familia ya se ha mencionado inumerables veces aquí en el foro y evito hablar sobre ellos) e "hija lexítima de D. Antonio Fernández de Monroy y Da. Juana Gómez García." El Lic. era originario de Guadalajara y la novia "originaria del pueblo de Tequila." Ahora la pregunta. Los quienes han estudiado a fondo los Gómez de Aguilar sabrá que Gómez de Aguilar y Gómez García provienen del mismo tronco. Ya que Estefana es Gómez-García por el lado materno, que será el vínculo de consanguinidad? Algún investigador ha encontrado la dispensa de esta pareja? No he logrado continuar la línea Fernández de Monroy, descendientes de la casa de Monroy, parientes del Marqués del Valle de Oaxaca.

As stated before, I am a researcher for a PBS show called Finding Your
Roots, that explores race, culture, and identity through the genealogies and
family histories of notable celebrities.
I am trying to trace the line of Jose de La Lus Ramirez, born March 1781 in
Jerez, Zacatecas, and the line of Joseph Antonio Luciano Caldera, born
December 14, 1755 in El Durazno, Zacatecas, and died Jun 19, 1799 in El
Durazno, Zacatecas.
We're trying to see if we can take these two people's families back to
Spain, which would probably be about two or three generations. We've already
checked the obvious places for records but have turned nothing up, so if
there is anyone with any leads or who would be interested in helping out, we
would be enormously appreciative.
I did some searching on your site and found Miguel Caldera, who has obvious
ties to Spain (through his father) and while it is entirely unknown whether
Joseph Antonio Luciano Caldera is related to him, it could be a lead?

I'm working on a PBS show and am trying to take the lines of Jose de La Lus
Ramirez of Jerez, Zacatecas, and Joseph Antonio Luciano Caldera of El

tengo algunas dudas sobre el linaje de geronima escoto rodas esposa de juachin muñoz de la barba no tengo a los padres de geronima escoto rodas ortiz nacio aprox 1672 y sus hijos nacidos en aguascalientes entre los años 1696 a 1716 en aguascalientes , en el new.familysearch.org encontrer un linaje donde se mencionan a una persona con el nombre de geronima escoto tovar nacida aproximadamente en 1677 y que es hija de ignacio escoto tovar este asu vez bautizado el 24 julio 1651 y beatriz morales fallecio el 4 octubre 1726, y de este ignacio hijo de antonio escoto tovar y de ines ortiz de rodas ,esta ultima hija de hernando ortiz de peguero y de ines de rodas estos casados el 17 feb 1615 en lagos de moreno. ines de rodas hija de hernando de villegas y de ines lopez de nava csado 8 sept 1588 lagos de moreno.
mi pregunta es si es cierto esta informacion del linaje de geronima? sera la misma persona?
y si alguien me podria ayudar o tiene alguna documentacion que me podria ayudar hacer esta coneccion .

My name is Martha, I am mexican married with a german man and living in Germany.
I have been studying my genealogy for over 7 years. One of my ancestors was Jacobo Ugarte y Loyola, who was born in Cegama, Guipuzcoa, Espana. He was a militar sent to New Spain where he was Governor of Coahuila and Puebla and General Commandant of the Internal Provinces, and latter Mayor (Intendente) of Guadalajara, he died in Guadalajara, Jalisco in august 1798. According with Juan Bautista Iguínez, he made his will also in August 1798 ahead of Manuel Francisco de Ortea. He rested in San Francisco´s temple also in Guadalajara.
Unfortunately I was not able to know the contest of his will neither to visit the temple.
I hope someone can help me to find more information about him and his will!

Oh my God! I found the matrimonio of my GGGG Grandparents Francisco Madera and Maria Leocadia De Huizar which is in the year 1760 and I am shocked from where it says about their origins!

What???? I am stunned! I cleary have Francisco Madera and Maria Leocadia De Huizar son, Juan Venancio (Benancio) Madera Espanol being born in "Rancho De Los Maderas in 1762! Which I have posted earlier:

Also have proof in a defunto record when Maria Leocadia De Huizar Espanola passed away in 1813 at 30 that she is from Rancho De Ximulco:

So that makes Francisco Madera the brother of Lazaro Madera (which I posted ealier) since their parents are "Blas Madera and Maria Theresa Abila.
Francisco Madera would also be the uncle of "Marcelo Madera" who was the owner of "Rancho De Los Maderas" in a census of 1828 (I only copied first page) where it shows "Don Marcelo Madera and Juana Ramirez" first on the list:

Oh my God did we Maderas originate from Mesquitic and moved over to Huejuquilla? So when did "Rancho De Los Madera's was founded? Because then I assume it could have been founded by either Blas Madera or the son Francisco Madera. But it making me think it could Blas Madera that founded Rancho De Los Madera's after coming over from Mesquitic.
At the same time the parents of my GGGG Grandmother Maria Loecadia Huizar, Espanola (Ximulco) who are Pedro Huizar and Maria Magdalena Navarette, Espanoles from Valparaiso came over to Huejuquilla and established themselves at Rancho Ximulco where Maria Leocadia De Huizar, Espanola was born.
Wow! But anyway to describe how my Grandfather Antonio Madera Madera looks like, he has a light complexion with blue eyes. Also a very old man in Huejuquilla by the last name Rimoldi told me he met my Great Grandfather Calixto Madera when he was already old in the early 1900's. And he describe him as looking very European with blue eyes. Most of Dad's brother and sisters have blue eyes but my Dad and another sister have brown eyes.

Mi abuelo Fernando Vásquez relataba que su abuela (probablemente Juana Flores)era descendiente de los Ingleses,los cuales algunos de ellos compartian terreno con los españoles en los Altos de Jalisco, el decia que su abuelita tenia una colita que sobresalia de su vertebra, según el todos los ingleses que vivian en aquellas tierras las tenian, si alguno de ustedes tiene mas información de este grupo de Ingleses en Jalisco y si la puede compartir conmigo seria fantastico...

Mi familia: Fernando de la Torre, b. 1830 in Tepatitlan de Morelos,
Jalisco, married Maria Gutierrez. The had children named Marcelina,
b. 1853; Margarita, b. 1855; and Jesus, b. 1859. They have other
children I do not know the names of. Marcelina married Jose Manuel
Romero in 1870 in Tepatitlan. Manuel Romero & Marcelina de la Torre
had children named Marcos, Serapio, Jose, Martiniana, Castulo, Luisa,
Maria de Jesus, Emilia, Manuel, and Abigail. Castulo Romero de la
Torre married Sofia de la Torre Romero. Mi padre es Ramon Romero,
hijo of Castulo Romero, b. abt. 1880 & Sofia de la Torre. Sofia es
hijo of Jose de la Torre and Elena Romero.

I need to hook up with anyone in the group that can answer a question or two
about Facebook. I am currently lining up individuals from facebook whose
listed surname is Puentes. I have started sending out messages inviting
these potential members of my family to do a comparison Y-DNA test.
My question regarding Facebook:
1) A long while back I got suspended for sending out Too Many message
invitations to the Vegan Podcast I started. Now being out of touch with FB
for awhile I don't know their current policy. Are you aware of how many
messages I can send per day to "non-friends" via copy and paste before I get
put on the "Watch" list for possible suspension of my privileges?
Your help is much appreciated as I'd like to send out some messages everyday
but want to stay a bit below the threshold of where FB's red flags start
appearing.

Does anyone know or have any information as to why a baby would be registered by her father as his natural child and then state that the mother is unknown? What would be the reasoning for not stating the mother's name?
