Dear Nuestros Ranchos members...

The site is back up. Thanks to all of the members who tested the prototype
new site over the last few days and identified a number of issues.
Hopefully we have gotten these resolved and the new site will not have TOO
many problems.

Inevitably there will be issues and I will try to address them as
expeditiously as possible. Rest assured that despite the problems, the
upgrade of software will give the group a more secure and powerful tool to
continue collaborating in the search for our ancestors.

Hi, all:

Well, I just saved myself $5.95 by checking out the Chihuahua Catholic
Church Records for Cusihuiriachic on the Family Search Pilot site. I was
disappointed they do not have Uruachic records, but then Uruachic may not
have had a church and I'm still trying to find out where the nearest church
was. Anyways, I am very grateful and thankful to those who took the time
and put all this online, so we can save time and Money!

Yes, Jalisco is another area I'd like to see some records come available.
In Chihuahua, these small villages can have records on one microfilm
spanning a hundred years, while in Jalisco, you usually see only 6 months or
a years worth of records on one film. It can get costly. Of course, I
can't help but still be thankful, because I don't have to travel to find my
Roots, like people used to have to do. Although, I do hope to be able to
see all these places I have been reading about!

"Valente Martinez" era hijo de José Maria Martinez ( 27 ene 1801 sta Prisca,Taxco Guerrero, pero sólo ésta generación y la siguiente están en Taxco los demás vuelven a de Asunsión D.F. José Maria hijo de José Maria Martinez de Orejón y Francisca Bustos)y Marcelina Espíndola hija de Joaquin Espíndola Baez y de Luisa Orozco y Toledo, Joaquin hijo de José Espíndola (Sta. The Chihuahua, Catholic Church records from 1622 - 1958 are now available online. I am sure that they are not all inclusive since many records from all the states of México where missed when originally microfilmed.

Thank-you, Eduardo, for letting us know about the availability of the
Chihuahua Catholic Church Records. Maybe now I can once again take up the
search to find a baptism record for my great-grandmother, Maria de Jesus
Garcia, in Uruachic, Chihuahua. Her name is so common, it has been a
challenge.

Tengo magníficas noticias: Arturo ha determinado que el sitio de NR

Arturo ha determinado que deberíamos conservar el uso del correo de
discución pero que la red en línea no estará disponible “por cierto
tiempo”. Arturo es muy capaz en lo que está haciendo pero siempre
existen inponderantes que hacen imposible dar la fecha exacta para
cuándo el sitio estará de nuevo en servicio. Sin embargo, Arturo ,
haciendo lo mejor de su parte, tiene confianza de poder restablecer la
“casi” total funcionalidad dentro de 24 horas, a partir de sacar el
sitio el viernes 3 de abril.

Otro asunto que necesita la inmediata atención de Ustedes es el área de
Álbums del grupo. Arturo piensa que existe la posibilidad de que la
información en el área de Álbums pudiera volverse “inrecuperable”. Esto
no es un mayor problema porque aquellas personas que han puesto ahí
fotografías y otra información, pudieran visitar el área de Álbums para
recordar lo que subieron y poder así, cuando regrese el sitio, subir de
nuevo el material que crean es importante para que esté en dicha área.
Pienso que esto nos dará la oportunidad de “limpiar” los álbums e
individualmente, determinar lo mejor a subir. POR FAVOR, ANOTEN EN QUÉ
CARPETAS ESTÁN SUS FOTOGRAFIAS, DE TAL MANERA QUE DESPUÉS PUEDAN
SUBIRLAS A LAS MISMAS. Cualquiera en el grupo que tenga información en
el área de Álbums, tiene una semana para visitar esa área antes de que
el sitio quede fuera de línea. Por favor, visiten dicha área TPCP (tan
pronto como puedan), gracias.

Pienso que la membresía de NR debería considerar plena y firmemente la
manera especial en que pudiéramos expresarle a Arturo nuestro
agradecimiento por el duro trabajo que inicialmente puso para construir
el sitio de Nuestros Ranchos y ahora, de tomar en sus manos la
descomunal tarea y esfuerzo necesarios para reconstruir y reinstalar un
sitio más seguro y con mayor funcionalidad de lo que ya de por sí es. Si
hay miembros en el grupo que quisieran unirse conmigo para expresar
nuestro agradecimiento a Arturo, por favor, COMUNÍQUENSE CONMIGO FUERA

Yo desciendo de algunas familias de Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco a los que ya no les he podido continuar la linea mas atrás. Por ejemplo:

1.- Tomás de España y Luisa María García, padres de Francisco de España, genearca de la familia España en Tepatitlán, Jalisco. Debieron casar aprox. en 1720.

Arturo ha determinado que deberíamos conservar el uso del correo de
discución pero que la red en línea no estará disponible “por cierto
tiempo”. Arturo es muy capaz en lo que está haciendo pero siempre
existen inponderantes que hacen imposible dar la fecha exacta para
cuándo el sitio estará de nuevo en servicio. Sin embargo, Arturo ,
haciendo lo mejor de su parte, tiene confianza de poder restablecer la
“casi” total funcionalidad dentro de 24 horas, a partir de sacar el
sitio el viernes 3 de abril.

Otro asunto que necesita la inmediata atención de Ustedes es el área de
Álbums del grupo. Arturo piensa que existe la posibilidad de que la
información en el área de Álbums pudiera volverse “inrecuperable”. Esto
no es un mayor problema porque aquellas personas que han puesto ahí
fotografías y otra información, pudieran visitar el área de Álbums para
recordar lo que subieron y poder así, cuando regrese el sitio, subir de
nuevo el material que crean es importante para que esté en dicha área.
Pienso que esto nos dará la oportunidad de “limpiar” los álbums e
individualmente, determinar lo mejor a subir. POR FAVOR, ANOTEN EN QUÉ
CARPETAS ESTÁN SUS FOTOGRAFIAS, DE TAL MANERA QUE DESPUÉS PUEDAN
SUBIRLAS A LAS MISMAS. Cualquiera en el grupo que tenga información en

3rd for at least 24 hours with the possibility of it being a bit longer.
He has determined that the site is in bad need of being rebuilt and he
is tackling this tremendous project.

Is there anyone in the group that has graphic design AND css experience?
If so please let us know as Arturo could very much use your help!

Arturo has determined that we should retain the use of the email
discussion lists but that the online website will be unavailable for "a
period of time." Arturo is very skilled at what he is doing but there
always exists unexpected situations that make it impossible to give the
exact time the site will be back up. Just know that Arturo will be doing
his best and he is confident that we should have "near" full
functionality within 24 hours after he takes the site down on FRIDAY
APRIL 3rd.

Another matter that needs your immediate attention is the Albums area of
the group. Arturo thinks there is the possibility that the information
in the Albums area might be "unrecoverable". This is not a big problem
because the various individuals who have put their pictures and other
scans there should visit, refresh their memories as to what they have
uploaded, and later be ready to re-upload any material they feel is
important to have in the albums area. I think this will give us an
opportunity to "clean up" the albums area and as individuals determine
what is best to re-upload. PLEASE NOTE WHAT FOLDERS YOUR PICTURES ARE IN
SO YOU CAN UPLOAD LATER TO THE SAME FOLDERS. Everyone in the group that

Juan de Ortiz married Luisa de Esparza on Dec. 13, 1666 in Aguascalientes (no parents listed). I've checked all the images of "Informacion Matrimonial" for 1666 in Pilot, but there are several months missing for that year. I was able to identify two potential individuals in Aguascalientes: Luisa Esparza Lozano, b. 6 Feb 1637, daughter of Pedro Ruiz Esparza and Juana Lozano, and Luisa Esparza Lisalde, born 28 Feb 1648 daughter of Jacinto Ruiz de Esparza and Juana Lopez Lisalde. I also know that Pedro Macias Valades married a Luisa de Esparza on July 2 1684 (no parents listed), after the death of his first wife, Francisca de Quiroga. Thus I am trying to figure out which of the two Luisas correspond to the respective marriages. Any help will be appreciated.

Hola a Todos, estoy buscando 2 cosas, una a los parientes de un General de la Revolución Apellidado Limón, de Guadalajara Jalisco parece que vivían en la colonia Ladrón de Guevara en Guadalajara, específicamentea su hija Eulalia ( tía Yaya) casada con un Sr. Coronado ( realmente lo busco a él y a su familia), éste es hijo de mi bisabuelo perdido Everardo Coronado, dueño de una hacienda Santa María en Ameca Jalisco..salío a pagar unas rayas cerca de 1915-1917 y solo regresó su caballo, lo encontraron colgado por ahí..

o si alguien tiene alos descendientes de Vasquez de Coronado en jalisco..alguna pista?

la segunda, alguíen sabe quienes eran los dueños originales o de hace 20 o 30 años de las Zapaterías 3 Hermanos? el hermano de Josefa Rada mi bisabuela perdida hija de Cristóbal Rada y Juliana Gonzalez en guadalajara cerca de 1850,( por cierto ya no fué soltera y se reivindicó) que gracias a Paty Haro apareció ;fundó esta compañía con su esposa pero no se ni su nombre ni quienes eran sus descendientes..aparentemente podrían venir de guanajuato,agradezco cualquier ayuda sobre los Coronado y los Rada Gonzalez -Gomez saludos Leticia Reynoso
