While searching on the internet I found:

I can't find "0404 Mariano Olivares & Catariba Avalos." They were most likely married in the 1780's as their daughter Maria Gertrudis Olibares Avalos was baptized 27 Nov 1787 according to the following record:

Is there a more likely interpretation of the date of birth when a baptism record describes an infant's as as "de xxxxx dias de nacido"? xxxxx is a number, siete, quatro, un, etc. I'd like to calculate DOB, but might be wrong by a day if my assumption is wrong. So, generally, was a child "de un dia de nacido" born today or yesterday?

I belong to a FB page called Azores Genealogy. This was posted today. I haven't tried it. But I imagine it's the same for Mexico. I belong to Ancestry.com, and that gives me access to most church documents (Baptisms, Marriages, Obits), but sometimes it's not enough. I will be trying this, substituting the country and town and church I need in Mexico:

For those of you who may not be familiar with navigating familysearch.org, here are some basic directions to getting you to the Madeira & Porto Santo films. Most, if any, of these films are not indexed on familysearch.org (but you can use ABM for that) so you must search through the films manually.

1. On the Main Page: Sign in or create a free account.
2. On the top Menu go to SEARCH.
3. Then go to CATALOG.
4. In the PLACE search field type MADEIRA or PORTO SANTO (or other country location).
5. Select “Portugal, Madeira (ilha)” or “Portugal, Porto Santo (ilha)” from the dropdown and click SEARCH.
6. Select “Portugal, Madeira (ilha) - Church records (50)” or “Portugal, Porto Santo (ilha) - Church records (1)” from the results.
7. You will see the list of PARISHES available on microfilm. [HINT- Create a shortcut on your browser to this page so that you don’t have to keep going through these steps every time.]
8. Select the PARISH you want.
9. Scroll down the page and see the results of microfilms- If it has camera icon over to the right, it is viewable online-DOUBLE CLICK ON THE CAMERA ICON.

anastacio sanchez who is my 3rd great grandfather born about 1850 and married my maria luz jaramillo. all children have been accounted for so far in baptismals records on family search. im currently looking for a marriage record or something of the sort that lists his parents or anything of the relevance. i do know that maria jaramillos parents were a eugenio jaramillo and or nicolasa hernandez.

On April 26th, joyfully, I added my voice to the many that attending the Westminster City Council meeting. At issue was a resolution to approve an application for "The Mendez Historic Trail and Green Street Bideway Project."

Outside of Orange County, Califoria most people are not aware that the Mendez v. Westminster School District in California took place in 1947, SEVEN years BEFORE the well-known Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka.
Kansas.

Both were about the educational civil rights of minority children, who in both cases were segregated into inferior schools. Mexican-heritage children were being placed in remedial Mexican schools through-out Orange County.

Those who spoke in favor of the resolution, were educators, long-term city residents, activists of all ages, even a mother with two small children, thanked the Mendez children, who were in attendance.

I served on the Westminster City General Plan Advisory Committee, and supported the idea of a bike trail, but it was the creativity of Sergio Contreras, past Mayor and current Council Member who saw the opportunity for bringing public visibily to the most important Civil Rights Case in our nation, and it took place right here in Westminster, Orange County California, not Kansas, and through the action of Latinos.

I don't know much about them so it is difficult for me to figure out the complexity of their ties to Dona Petronilla de Gabai y Martin Navarro.

While there are several family versions on Familysearch does anyone or has anyone put these pieces together yet. I my search for Juan Manuel Rodriguez born abt 1758 cc: Maria Petra Alonso I found a record for this couple back in 2015 and just today I saw someone added this dispensa in another record. Thanks for the help.

Me pregunto si alguno de ustedes sabe quienes fueron los padres de Antonio de Cuéllar, casado en Aguascalientes en 1681 con doña Josefa Macías. Hace tiempo leí que aparecía como "hijo de la Iglesia" y que había crecido en la hacienda de Mariquita, en Encarnación de Díaz.

Me pregunto si existe algún documento posterior que de luz sobre su origen.

Your ancestor Jose Maria Urrutia, brother of the Manuel Urrutia you mentioned, was born 4 January 1816 in Chihuahua City, and was baptized 6 January 1816 as "Jose Mariano de Jesus Telesforo de los Reyes Urrutia [the IGI says "Orrutia" based on the handwriting] hijo legitimo de Jose Antonio Urrutia y de Doña Mariana Sánchez de Aldana, Españoles (LDS Film # 162665).   The Sánchez de Aldana family is an old family from Michoacán and Jalisco, whose descent from Leonel de Cervantes, Conquistador, is given in "The Colonial Genealogist"  Vol. III, No. 2 (New Series), October 1970, at pp. 73-79.

Miguel Munguia, born in Tamazula, Jalisco in 1768 his father is Carlos Munguia and his mother Theresa de Coria.
his wife is Eufrasia Rosalia Castañeda daugther of Juan Peres Valdes and Maria Gertrudis de Siordia.

That is as far as I go there

On the other branch is Jose Barragan married on april 25, 1820 in Sayula, Jalisco with Maria Monica Cobian.

Monica´s mother is Nicolasa Michel and her father is Tomas Cobian.

I hope you can help me with this two branches, I am really stock there

my great grandmother felisitas coronado was born in october 19 1896 and was married in villa de cos zacatecas mexico to my great grandpa crescencio. her parents were after looking at various census reports marriage records etc looks to be a francisco coronado and or a emilia sanchez. francisco coronado was born in jalisco, mexico around 1869 and was married in zacatecas, mexico. his parents from what i can tell from reading was a romauldo coronado and or a maria gonzalez. im having a hard time finding anything out on romauldo coronados parents who was supposed to be a maria amat and or a andres coronado. andres coronado birth date was supposed to be about 1825 and or wife maria amat was about 1827.. can anyone have a look at my tree information in my files and or helps me ? thanks you to whomever can or points me in right direction. so far from help i found out from connecting other lines of family there may be a family member who lives near neon leon mexico who may or not be alive still and that got me excited so thank you again you all definitely made my day!! im trying to find parents relating to andres coronado and or a maria amat.

This is great news Daniel! Half of my Mexican ancestry comes from Sinaloa,
the other half is Jalisco. I have spent a great deal of time working on San
Ignacio records. Nothing is available prior to 1900 and I have been
informed by the City Offices to go to Culiacan for birth and death
registration. The office there has been quite helpful. I recently completed
a book on the life of my abuelita, Florencia Salazar Aguirre. I am happy
with the first half of her life story--in San Ignacio and the surrounding
ranchos. The rest of the story takes place in San Francisco California. Let
me know if you find other Sinaloa information of interest.

The Sinaloa Civil records are not currently online at neither Family Search nor Ancestry.com. I have read that the LDS church entered into an agreement with the State of Sinaloa in 2013 to microfilm them.

Does anyone know the status of this project?
