I am looking at the defunto records of Huejuquilla El Alto, Jalisco, Mexico.
I will be updating my post with a whole bunch more information. I had just been going off of memory to make my original post.
I just saw an episode of a TV show named Forever (Warner Channel Latinoamérica, lunes, 22 hrs), it had an interesting genealogy quote:
For those of you in this area:

Amalia,
In a message board from 2001 I found this statement:
"Among the original settlers [of Nuevo Mexico] were the Archuleta, Baca, Chavez, Lucero and Montoya families.
I was going through defunto records of Huejuquilla El Alto, Jalisco, Mexico and ran across this one of "Antonio Lopez" 71 years of age of Rancho San Rafael, "murio de dehidrofecia" I don't know that t
Los libros se pueden entregar personalmente en la ciudad de México o enviar por algún medio a convenir. Los precios son en pesos mexicanos.
I found out where the old panteon of Huejuquilla El Alto is located. I was told that:
I am trying to find the defunto record of my GGGG Grandfather Francisco Madera whose wife I know is Maria Leocadia De Huizar and they had a son name Juan Venancio Madera in 1762 in Rancho De Los Mader

Hola a Todos
Por cuestiones de cambio de ciudad y trabajo estuve muy fuera del foro.
I have found a major flaw in my tree.
Hello...does anyone know where I can get more info regarding Reales?
Hello Nuestros Ranchos Forum
I'm Danny and I've been researching my family for about a month.
Did something happen with the NR e-mail system? The font has become hard to read. I do not see this with other e-mails that I send or receive.
Perhaps a non-standard font is being used?
En Saltillo, Este jueves proximo, mañana 12 de febrero, se inicia un Taller
de genealogía y Paleografia en la Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila,
Camporredondo, Instituto de Enseñanza Abierta.
Many thanks to all of you who replied to my question : Julieta, Emilie, and
Mario. I really appreciate the explanations.

One of the places that disappear are cemetaries. I have been asking around where the old cemetaries during colonial times were in our villages.
This chain is really confusing.

Thank you sir for the additional ancestors.
Looking for direct male descendant of Diego ROMO (abt. 1630) son of Diego ROMO DE VIVAR (1589-1650) with family tree showing direct male connections.
I wish they could tape the Basque lectures and let us download or purchase
them (since we cannot attend the class).
Is that possible?
Many thanks!
