i'm having a hard time understanding some parts of this page

Good Morning Grupo,
Anyone else experiencing technical difficulties scanning familysearch entries?
For the last few days the site "freezes up" on me after scanning about 30 pages.
Sometimes refreshing the page gets it back up for another 30 pages.
Usually, I've got to restart the search from initial page to continue where I left off.
Frustrating, but not sure if the problem is with the site or on my end.
I'm patient, but knowing how intense I get when researching, I hesitate to start at all.
Any computer savvy help would be greatly appreciated.

It's been a long time since I've posted. Since that time, my research has intensified and extended to actually looking up one of the few living relatives still in Mexico who took me around to the place of our ancestors, which turns out to be a "rancho" called Aguajes, Zacatecas.

There was a woman who contact me after seeing my tree - her name is Martha Vogel who is related to me via the Herrera line. It turns out that her great grandfather Tranquilino Herrera was also the great grandfather of the relative that took me around all of Zacatecas. As life has it, I have a picture of her great grandparents because he was the grandfather of my grandmother Norberta Herrera Luna. Yes, in this small rancho community, it appears everyone had inter-married, which was a common practice back then, but really hell to try to figure out as relates to geneology.

Does anyone have information about Yldelfonso Gonzalez Placensia born around 1680 in Cuquio? He is the son of Maria Ana Placensia and unknown Gonzalez. I hope someone knows the name of the husband of Maria Ana Placensia.

Yldedfonso G. P. married Josefa Rodriguez around 1700-05, possibly in Cuquio. Their son Luis received a dispensation in 1729 to marry Manuela Becerra Gutierrez. The dispensation states that Yldelfonso Gonzalez Placensia and Petrona Gutierrez "son primos segundos." Petrona Gutierrez Placensia (mother of Manuela B. G.) is the daughter of Balthazar G. & Maria Placensia.

Don Manuel de Villalpando and his wife Dona Maria Gregoria Guardado (d/o Eugenio Jose Guardadp and Maria Gertrudis Garcia) had at least 9 children from 1778 the late 1790s, of whom 8 are in the baptismal registers of Asientos, AGS. For one, Rafael, there is no baptism record, but his marriage record, and the baptism records of his children place him in this family.

I have not found a marriage record for Manuel and Gregoria.

Does anyone know who Manuel's parents are?

About 2 years ago, I was helping my cousins the Pedrozas with their family tree. I stopped at Joseph Miguel de Pedroza because in his marriage record it states he was from Padres no conocidos. I looked over the record yesterday and noticed someone had added that he was born in Sauces, Lagos de Moreno but there was no source for it. I found their IM and in the image it stated he was natural de Dionicia (so he did have a mother listed) and from the Sauces in Lagos. I then read the testigos and a Francisco Xavier de Pedroza stated he knew Joseph since he was just born. I looked up Francisco Xavier and right under him born in 1706 was Maria Dionicia Pedroza.

Maria Dionicia Pedroza Macias (25 yo) was married to Nicolas Dias Tiscareno (44yo) vdo. de Juana Maria del Campo Yssasi Pedroza… They had a dispensa because his wife and wife to be were 3rd blood relation, but I had not read it 2 years ago. He states he has had a long standing illicit relationship with her and being that she is a Huerfana (mother was still alive) and very poor and their relationship was well known publicly that she would not be able to find someone to marry her.

From all this information it seems Nicolas Dias is the father of Joseph Miguel Pedroza. Here is the problem, Joseph Miguel would have been born around 1725, and they did not get married until 1731 6 years later but Nicolas Dias would have still been married as he was a vdo. for only 7 months in April 1731.
I have not searched to see if any of Joseph Miguel Pedroza used Dias or Tiscareno though that might have started a quarrel with his other children maybe.

I have discovered George Fultons list of extracted Info Matrimoniales for Aguascalientes (open the tab for "Files" and then "Reference Materials" here in NR )- what a fantastic resource!

I can see there is an Antonio Villalpando de padre no conocido.

However, I cannot find the actual image.

There is no volume 1709, so I looked via the link 1708-1710 (for Aguascalientes Asuncion de Maria).

I must be looking in the wrong place but I have no idea where the right place is. Can anyone send me in the right direction?

Hello, are any of you descendants of Francisco de Luna 1830, Jose Merced de Luna 1859 or Lorenzo Medrano de Luna 1882; all from Asientos, Aguacalientes?

I have been looking for more information on Antonio Cobian de Busto cc Isabel de Tapia in Mexico City on 17 Mar 1717. The record says they received a dispensation for the marriage bans before and after the marriage. They were also both recorded with the honorific Don y Dona.

Their marriage was also recorded in 1733 in Celaya, where they were vecinos, mentioning that their marriage had occurred earlier in Mexico City. Neither record lists their parents. They had at least two sons in Celaya before their marriage was recorded in 1733.

I think it is possible I have found another lead on Antonio, since there is a visitador of the presidios of New Mexico named Antonio Cobian Busto. He is mentioned in a variety of books and websites, but I have not seen anything about his origins.

Desde hace tiempo he tenido la intención de comentarles sobre algunos registros que he visto sobre la familia Madera. Aunque yo no desciendo de esa familia los he ido coleccionando pues creo que en este foro hay varios descendientes de ellos.

Dentro del Archivo General de Indias encuentro dos ramas:

1. Rodrigo Madera, fabricante de naves y comerciante, que fue indemnizado por haber arrojado una carga de cueros al mar para poder llevar plata en su lugar.

2. Antonio Madera, probablemente militar que pasó en 1576 acompañado de su mujer Isabel López y sus hijos, una sobrina de su mujer, todos vecinos de Sevilla para estar en compañía de Maese Alonso. Antonio recibió permiso para llevar dos espadas, dos dagas y un arcabuz y recibió una carta de recomendación para que le fueran otorgadas tierras y solares.

Éste puede ser el ancestro de la rama de Zacatecas, ya que al parecer hay un Antonio Madera del siglo XVII que puede ser nieto o bisnieto del emigrante.

Dos años después pasaron dos mujeres: Beatriz e Isabel, cada una con dos hijas.

A principios del siglo XVII hubo en Querétaro un Capitán Salvador Madera, Alguacil Mayor de la Ciudad que aparece como testigo en varios casamientos y bautismos, que también podría estar relacionado pues Querétaro está situado muy cerca de la ruta de Zacatecas.

Si estos datos le llegan a interesar a alguno transcribiré los números de registro.

Seems to be mostly about indians. But I have found mentioned Francisca Suarez de Ibarra, Antonio Siordia, Sebastian Perez de Frias married to an indian, Mateo Sandoval, and Alonso Gomez Garay thus far.

I hit a brick wall with Manuel de Amézola or Amésola & Rosa María or Anna María Padilla. They would have married about 1744 or earlier.

By my count, they had three children:

1. Bernardo. He was baptized on August 28, 1745 in Ayo el Chico.

2. Joseph Leonardo. He was on baptized December 8, 1756, also in Ayo el Chico.

3. Manuela. She married Marcos Barrera on February 5, 1776 in Ayo el Chico.

Any assistance given would be very much appreciated.

I’m trying to figure out who their parents are. Sebastiana and Pedro
would’ve been born about 1675, probably in San Juan de los Lagos. Their
daughter Maria Gutierrez married Juan Macias Valadez, the son of Marcos
Macias Valadez and Maria de Ulloa.

A couple of questions and the quote from the Family Search webpage about missing records.

1. Are the missing online records of Nochistlan are in the process of being digitized? Or are they completely missing?

2. If the missing online records are in a microfilm collection, would any local Family History Center have them?

"If the locality and time period you need are not included in the online records, the next step is to find them in the microfilm collection of the Family History Library. Currently, they are being digitized, and plans are to complete that project by 2020. Check back occasionally to see if your records have become available. In the meantime, some of them might be available at a Family History Center near you."

Domingo de Santiago and Petronila Perez (aka Petra de los Reyes) were the parents of Getrudis de Santiago who married Joseph de Esparza (widower of Nicolasa Ramirez; and son of Juan de Esparza and Bernarda de Siordia) 20 Jul 1729 in Aguascalientes, according to the matrimonial investigation.

Getrudis was born about 1711 (age 18 at marriage), so Domingo de Santiago may have been born about 1690, or earlier.

Does anyone know who Domingo's parents might be?
